Power transmission repair

Power Transmission Repair & Supply

Everything between the motor and the machine: gearboxes, gears, bearings, sprockets, roller chain, couplings. Repair it, replace it, or sell it to us for cash.

The complete drivetrain

BearingsTapered, spherical, journal — supply, fitting, housing repair
Sprockets & Roller ChainANSI 40–240 and engineering class — matched sets, wear analysis
Couplings & Grid DrivesFalk Steelflex, gear couplings, disc packs — replacement + alignment
Gearboxes & ReducersAll 33 brands rebuilt with published pricing
Open GearingGirth gears, pinions, racks — regrind, reverse, remanufacture
Planetary DrivesWind, winch, slew, track drives — Brevini, Bonfiglioli, GE

One call for the whole drive

Power transmission failures travel in packs: a failing coupling hammers the gearbox input bearing; hooked sprockets stretch new chain in months; a soft foot re-misaligns everything after the rebuild. That's why treating the drivetrain as a system — not a parts list — is the difference between a repair that lasts two years and one that lasts fifteen.

We repair, supply, and buy across the entire train: gear drives from 33 major brands, open gearing to 40-foot girth gears, large-bore bearings, ANSI and engineering-class chain with matched sprockets, and grid/gear/disc couplings with laser alignment on reinstall. Published pricing on every product page, 8–12 day standard turnaround, 24–72 hour emergency, and same-day cash offers for surplus stock.

Power transmission questions

Do you handle complete drive packages or just gearboxes?
Complete packages: motor-coupling-gearbox-chain-driven sprocket, engineered as a system. Half of repeat gearbox failures are actually alignment or chain-drive problems — fixing the whole train is how we warranty rebuilds up to 24 months. Call (641) 519-6270.
Can you supply bearings and chain, or only repair?
Both — we stock and source large-bore bearings, engineering-class chain, and sprockets, and we buy surplus stock (new-in-box bearings especially). One call covers repair, replacement, and buyback. Call (641) 519-6270.
My chain keeps stretching — chain quality or sprockets?
Usually both: hooked sprocket teeth yank the chain and accelerate pin wear. New chain on worn sprockets dies in months. We measure tooth profile whenever elongation passes 2% and quote matched sets. Call (641) 519-6270.
